Yeah whatever on slavery not being the cause for the war. Our History professor (mind you at a college in Mississippi three years ago) showed us a copy of the secession statement from the Mississippi legislature and it read in the FIRST line: "Our position is hereby associated with the institution of slavery"
So don't give me that bullshit. I'm FROM Mississippi and I know that slavery was the root cause of the Civil War.

its not really a "cover" because they expanded a song so much. It may be dylan's chorus, but the song in its entirety is OCMS, and its not like they pass it off as their own. That's why dylan is credited in the liner notes.

the song is awesome. the VIDEO is even better. wicked.
and as for slavery and the civil war: the main idealogical difference was states' rights. The federal governmnet was taking more and more power away from what were supposed to be nearly sovereign states. A central issue in the states rights vs federal government argument was slave laws, specifically the dredd scott case. Technically, the south should have been allowed to secede from the union.

umm never made it sound like a bad thing .. without dylans chorus and beat... it this wouldnt be even close to as good... umm type in dylans song mama rock me and listen to the beat its exactly the same... thas like me using nirvanas song smells like teen spirit and just using the chorus and the but adding my own lyrics .. its a cover... so yeah... by defination its a cover... but they did a great job so i wasnt trying to discredit them.. so yeah

OK I've studied music videos for the last 24 years and I can safely say that this is the best one so far.
The mood and style of the images fit perfectly. Not necessarily expected but the result is edgy, artistic and most of all it complements the great bluegrass music hand-in-glove. Well done for the video and the fantastic song!
