Hm, that's a very tough choice. I enjoyed every part I've been to. Like Sydney, stayed there for about 2 weeks. What a great city. Alice Springs was a bit too hot for my share. But I loved the sunsets in the outback, and I loved the Australian nightsky. I didnt' even know so many stars existed :D I loved the tropical feeling in Cairns. Port Douglas was the most northern point I went to. Noosa was charming, as well as Brisbane. Was impressed by the port of Newcastle.

Unfortunately I've only seen the eastern coast. But I will definately come back some day, to visit Perth and Melbourne. But what I enjoyed most was the hospitality of the Australians. It doesn't matter where you go, the ppl are friendly everywhere! I've never experienced something like this before.

Perhaps on your next trip, rent a car or campervan in Sydney, then go on a roadtrip through country NSW and Victoria on route to Melbourne, then proceed to Adelaide along the coast, visit the Barossa, and then head up to cross the Nullabor Plain all the way to Perth. Once you're there, ditch the vehicle, do some tours and take a plane home from Perth. It'll be a trip of a lifetime!

Oh my, just watching this video almost brings a tear to my eye. I studied at the Univ of Newcastle for 7 months, lived 1 block from Newcastle Beach and it was the greatest time of my life! I loved the Barrier Reef, Cairns, Perth, Sydney, Ayers Rock, Tasmania, among other things!
