the first bar sounds like the Portishead's Machine gun beat!! and the bass and beat prod kind of sound a bit like their track "Silence". Do someone know if they were influenced by them or its just me...

well , can have been around since the early 70´s . Jaki Liebezeit an Irmin Schmidt were the "creators" of CAN music and sounds (they studied with the master of electroacoustics Karlheinz Stockhauzen) so probly portishead copy some of their "trippy" sound.

Yeah, I know them... but a friend of mine just told me about these guys and he'd never heard of them before either until recently.

I love the opening 1 minute i got anxious watching the clock face plus that floating axe and the seal under water looking at the camera.The song is so brand new.
