| The #1 song in the US when I started high school. A happy memory. What a marvelous piece of poetry! A big story told in less than three minutes; a group that was difficult to categorize because they did so many styles. "Golden Rainbow" was a song (I think that's the name of it) that was country to the max, and "Jimmy Loves Mary-Anne" was bluesy. T A L E N T ! |

| #1 song in the US when I started high school. A great "Story Song." It seems this group was hard to pin down in any particular genre; Brandy was pop, Jimmy Loves MaryAnne was bluesey, and Golden Rainbow was C&W thru and thru. Good ear candy! |
