For all of you young ignorant sweethearts: the kid on John's knees is NOT Julian Lennon but in fact a 5 year old young girl called Nicola who was with her mother part of the extras hired on the film. Hence this little line "No! You're not said Little Nicola" in brackets right under "I am the walrus" in the original tracklisting printed in the original Magical Mystery Tour booklet and on the back of the german pressing of the album.

Years and years after the shooting of the movie, that is to say a few years ago, the "Little Nicola", now about a 45+ year old woman turned into a mother herself was interviewed in some music magazine in the UK, and she was telling her memories of the film... She showed the journalist the very little striped frock she was wearing then and for the scene with John and george, and it was moving really because it is now just some miserable worn out raggy looking old little clothe...
