sometimes there comes a point when the student passes the teacher.
duane allman's music legacy will live forever but as much as i admire him, i think derek trucks' slide artistry has now gone to another level.& i think duane allman would be digging derek's stuff the most of anyone at all
thank goodness for duane allman & thank goodness for derek trucks, the world's a more beautiful place with the sound of their music on it.& dt put himself together a pretty fair band too

Perhaps you're right. I was just guessing based on the sound I get running my Epiphone thru an Ibanez Tube screamer. VERY similar sound. I guess you could call it a "Poor" man's setup! lol!
