Slick, but I don't think Stanley ever came close to Ron Carter's abilities, in terms of lyricism, mastery of harmonies, and being incendiary in ways you might not notice the first 2-3 times you listen to a song.

Acoustic Bass is Great, However they can be quiet. They dont seem usually to be as loud as Acoustic Guitars unless its a Really top range Bass. You might need one of those mini amps that connect to your belt?

no that's not a cello, it's a double bass, accoustic bass, or upright bass. you can't slap a cello, well you could i guess but it would sound wierd. and there isn't a "massive difference" between the terms "accoustic" and "double" bass. you guys are thinking of an accoustic bass GUITAR...
