You're gettin there man...keep practicing! Playing with songs is a great way to learn but don't underestimate practicing with a metronome. It's boring but they are brutallly honest.

not bad, work on some left hand fingering 1 finger per fret and practice locking in with the drummer forget about the guitar stay tight with his kick drum and hold down the bottom and the rest will take care of itself..

Man, work on your timing, accents and staccatos! You tend to come after the beat. Take my advice: buy a metronome - and never prctice it without it.
