Yeah I always play in headphones. It's frickin amazing! Plus with the headphones, you can pick up a lot of the different stuff that goes through left and right channels that you wouldn't normally notice.

wow, can't get more epic than this XD I mean, I look at today's games with all their super normal mapping techniques, their 9000x9000 textures... and I enjoyed much more playing Rez, where half of a lot of stuff composed of wireframe meshes!
Nevermind, this brought me some tears... The last moments get just too damn epic for my eyes. Period.

i agree. a lot of gaming companies these days are focusing more on graphics and less on gameplay.
probably explains why i stick to playing my older ps1 and ps2 games instead of moving ahead with the next generation...

Indeed! And I find it funny that a lot of people is looking forward for remakes of old classics: Ikaruga and Rez for the 360.

what i think the problem is is that new games are far far to intrestid in graphics and not intrestid in the art of it and the oooooooooooooooooooo facter which rez has bear off

Graphics mean NOTHING unless you have great art direction. REZ had great art direction and fantastic sound direction. A brilliant looking game. Can't wait to try it in 5.1 on the 360 :-)

Yes I know it came out on DC first, however, I was playing the PS2 version. I don't see what you mean about the whole giving credit thing. People asked me what system I was playing this on and I told them.

WTF are you talking about. He's giving the game credit, who gives a fuck what system it came out on first. Hell, he didn't even give credit to the PS2. I loved the Dreamcast too, but don't try and fight the Dreamcast fight when no one here disagrees with you.

The audio is better on the DC, as are the visuals (read: antialiasing), and though it may be 30FPS it never slows down like the PS2 version does.
Obviously the 360 version outperforms all of them, but whether the PS2 version is really better than the DC one is arguable.

With a score like that, i'd normally say you play too much, but with a game like this, i don't think there's such thing as too much.
I FINALLY managed to get it yesterday, and i can tell i'm gonna be playing it for a LONG time now. I expected it to be good, but not inspirationally so, as it's it's proving to be so far.
