dude you obviusly did your half hour research, and something you didn't include is that nintendo's SNES tried to compete with the Sega CD and asked phillips and Sony to make a prototype CDSNES. Phillips finished first and had several games with mario and zelda, but since the sega CD sucked, nintendo had no reason to create the CDSNES, so the project was forgoten, but Sony didn't want to reject it, so they created the PlayStation™.
Imagine If rigth now the Wii™ and the PS3™ would be partners...

I already knew all of those facts. Wow. I have no life. Oh, speaking of censorship, the Magic of Scheherezade was one of the few NES games that showed outright nudity. One of its bosses was clearly topless (they missed that somehow.) And also, Shadowgate contained the most gruesome and explicit deaths in any NES game ever, but they were all text-based.
