I got the bootleg double-cd from their Oakland show 1977. I was surprised how great the quality is! I'm thinking of maybe uploading bits of it on YouTube, with pictures of the tour. Anyone interested..? BTW, that vid was amazing!!!!

animals is such a class floyd album. amidst the other floyd albums, it remains somewhat hidden. I feel it is just as important creatively, dynamically etc. it is quite a violent album is it not?? "you've got to be trusted by the people that you lie to, so you'll get the chance to put the knife in"..classic

Why not put up the entire video footage of this awesome concert, start to finish? All true Floyd fans would bow down in gratitude and appreciation! This was probably the best tour ever, Animals(one of the most underrated Floyd albums) and Wish You Were Here. I wish I could have seen it!!

I know how you feel. I was born in January of 1976 so I was a baby in diapers as this tour took place. I would have cut me arm off to see PF at the Boston Garden in June of 1977. Luckily, I did see PF in May of 1994 though Roger Waters was gone from PF as of 1985.

They played this tour at 'New Bingley Hall' in Staffordshire (they hold farmers livestock shows there!!!) at the end of May 77 and I was there...it was an awesome concert.. its great to appreciate such superb music and talent...I may be an oldie but I'm a goodie...Floyd rocks but some of the bands today keep the music alive...

The Animals tour WAS the 'In The Flesh' Tour. That's how Roger got the name for the songs on The Wall of that same title.

You mean March of 1977. Pink Floyd was playing the United States from April to July of 1977. I would give my life to see this tour as it happened. I have six ROIOs from the Animals tour. Each show was different and you didn't know if the crowd was either well-behaved or out of control. Plus to hear PF's two best albums (Wish You Were Here and Animals) live is a show that remains to be topped.

The Animals tour happened in 1977 when I was a year old. I saw The Division Bell tour in Boston in May of 1994 and PF exceeded expectations. Also, I'm a rare breed of PF fans who doesn't smoke, drink nor do drugs (thank my dad as he quit drinking in 78 and smoking in 84. I went with father when folks divorced in 87). I grew up on PF thanks to my mom (may she RIP as she passed away on 3/31/07 from COPD and Diabetes) who turned me on to PF when I was a child back in Whitman, MA. Long live PF!

I've seen this show in feb 77 in Rotterdam and after 31 years and many live shows from PF and Waters and Gilmour solo. It's still by far the best liveconcert I've ever seen!!
