I think he cleaned his act up somewhat in his later years though.

Two of the most distinctive and authentic voices in music-no matter what genre! Johnny was a man of great depth and compassion-one of the greatest storytellers ever. Emmylou has a voice of such purity and, in my opinion, one of the most visually beautiful women I have ever laid eyes on.

Just discovering Emmylou's gorgeous voice. As HDN1956 commented, didn't think Johnny and her voice would work together but I think it's lovely. Nice bit of mandolin playing aswell.

I'm not sure but I think the man playing the mandolin is Johnny's ex son-in-law Marty Stewart. He was married to his oldest daughter, Roseann Cash who later married and divorced Rodney Crowell.

that is Rodney Crowell. Yes, he was married to Roseanne. They did a couple of great songs togeter on the Circle Be Unbroken albums. He is one of the all time great muscians, song writers, singers.

Oh, I wish we could bet! I have seen Rodney Crowell several times, and he has collaborated several times with Emmy Lou. Wouldn't it be fun if we could take a poll or really bet or get an "authority" to help us decide our dilemna? I love to learn new things about the people I love to watch perform, so thanks for your input. Marty has the Big hair, remember? Rodney is a little more conservative in his appearance.
