Yes its wrong to take private photos from someones computer and spread them however if you have half any sense of reality you would know that there are millions of people around the world who would do it and therefore edison should have been smarter than to send his laptop off full of pics like that

It's because she was an avid anti-premarital sex advocate -- and then these explicit photos come out. The other parts of the "scandal" have to do with his affairs with prominent MARRIED women & its impact on various entertainment and businesses families. Sex is not the issue. The hypocrisy that has surfaced (with this twin's star and Edison) is not unlike that of Gov. Spitzer's who was anti-prostitution yet got caught with a 1000uSd / hour call girl.
