So far your arguments have been "the Bible is never corrected", "scientists distort their findings all the time", "burning at the stake was only for witches" and "if you go against the literal 6 day creation story you go against christianity". Not really honest neither constructive if you ask me; more like close-minded.

Closed minded, yeah, yeah. I get that all the time too. I've taken recently about 2 years of college science and I always wandered how can there be atheists that deny the Existence of God. By the way, facts aren't necessarily truths.

You are completely mixing unrelated topics there. Evolution does not equal atheism. There are christian scientists like Ken Miller that embrace evolution just like they embrace gravity or relativity because if they didn't they simply couldn't do any research.

Scientists didn't "luck" into finding new things, they use a very strict method of trial and error, research, critical analysis, skepticism, etc, to discover them.
