I would like to address this to all the pro-life pro-adoption people: unless you're going to adopt a crackbaby, shut the hell up. don't be an advocate for something you aren't doing/haven't done/wont do.
Not every child gets adopted, some get adopted by horrible people. adoption is hardly a reliable option.

You make an interesting point about fatherhood. Society considers a man to have no responsibility during pregancy (as it's the women's decision to abort), but to be fully vested parents after birth. We can't have our cake and eat it too. It's no wonder men think paying biweekly child support is what makes a good dad. Removing men from the "decision" is disempowering to say the least, and it creates a self-perpetuating problem of men who just don't give a damn. Kudos to you Chris!
