are you people nuts? the male doesn't run on purpose, after mating, the male mantiss doesnt live long at all, instictively it knows and offers itself as a meal to his newly pregnant "wife" this is all part of nature, the male mantiss sometimes practically crams himself into the female's mouth...it's all in nature's plan
