this movie was good but nothing like the comic book all they did was slap the name on the movis so it can hold up with all the comic movies very dissappointing in that aspect. they shouldve followed the book alot more.. because it dosnt deserve that title..read the book

I came in watching this movie and hoping for it to fail. The trailer makes it look ridiculous but in a retarded way.
In fact, its the closest thing to the first Matrix. Its a movie that is not about heroes. Its about being fucking bad and loving it.
And Morgan Freeman is fucking boss in this movie. I assume is going to be a sleeper hit. Maybe reach "THE 300" notoriety.

didn't want to follow it so closly because he wasn't sure he had the rights to all the villains millar and jones outright rip off. all in all a good movie if your in the mood for rediculous action with little story. and i think top cow is finally getting out there with thier properties... can't wait till the withcblade movie!!!

I thought it was good...I mean, me and my friend were the only ones in the theater at the time so we were able to laugh as loud as we want and that helps I think? Anyway these reviewers got it right just go in expecting WAY over the top action and its preety fun!

Having never read the comic I cannot compare the movie to it. However if you want to leave your brain at the cinema door and simply go on an action ride then it's a ok movie....not great but ok. Action wise it's as unbelievable action wise as say the Die Hard movies (now they really are mindless esp number 4 and yet you get hooked by them.....same can be said for this) 7/10.

Hey RcktVdeoGuy, the reason shoot em up "Sucked" was because the director was tired of all the cliche's you see in movies nowadays. So he took every cliche in the book and multiplied it by 100. Which made the movie funny not horrible.
