A tad harsh methinks, but yes, she certainly doesn't add anything to the original. Edie Brickell has a far better voice, and the musicians sound like they're trying to recreate a note-perfect cover but failing. If you're going to issue a cover of a song, you really have to take it in a different direction to the original, otherwise why bother.

hmm - so if a song sells more copies, it MUST be better? That would rate the godawful Birdie Song and Agadoo higher than an obscure genius like Julian Cope or Royksopp.
Again, why cover a song and make it sound like a watered-down version of the original. If you're going to cover a song, go in a different direction entirely - e.g. Amy Winehouse's cover of the Zutons' Valerie.

Kylie does brilliant covers. She sings them in tune and she's a total superstar unlike the talentless Emma Bunton. She can't sing or act for toffee. Kylie can do both and she well deserved her OBE. Emma will forever be a flop star. She will never ever in a million years recieve an OBE because she's trash. She doesn't even write any one of her songs and to say she does is just crap. Kylie can sing live. Emma mimes at every gig she's done. She will bever ever be able to sing live unlike Kylie.

It would be nice if you checked your spelling you retard. the "does" is with an "E" and an "S", before has an "E" at the end of it, write has no "H" in it whatsoever and the "O" and the "E" and should be the other way round in the word people.
