It's a Damn good thing that someone takes care and spends huge amounts of money in the already High tech using American soldiers while they blast civilians and undergeared opponents...How bout quitting the vain wars or atleast developing less lethal usable weapons instead of this BS.

Nice armour but they will still say that its to expensive to buy for ever soldier. oddly this armour looks almost like byzantine lamalar armour that was said to soak up the arrows of the day. but i wonder when they will cut the cap and make power armour the tec must exist somewere in the world.
P>S think this armour can soak up a .50 or .60 anti mat round?

That's not the biggest problem. All that test did was show that it could take the shrapnel. But the concussion blast of the grenade would turn your inside's into jelly either way. They said it after this test on the actual show, but it is cut out on this clip.

.50 would defeat this armor, whether the armor stopped it or not is of little consequence. It's too heavy and too fast and if it didn't pierce (which would be doubtful) it would still kill whatever was wearing it. That said dragon skin rules.

Im not convinced with dragonskin. Why is there no analysis to show the blunt trauma damage. They should show tests without the manequins clothes, or cover a watermelon with the armour and carry out the tests.
