Video Description:
Months of bitter fighting has drived hundreds of thousands of Somalis from their homes in Mogadishu.
Many of those have headed north towards Puntland, a semi-autonomous region in the north east of the country.
Al Jazeera's Mohammed Adow reports that the region's largest city Bosaso is now struggling to provide for its growing refugee population.

| any one who can speak somali regardless of his origin or the place he's from whether Djibouti, Puntland, Somaliland, Ogaden, SouthSomalia and NorthEast Kenya, u guys u dont have to seperate eachother that's what put u behind from da rest of world u were great when u had a good gov. 17 hell yrs ago, u had a good reputation and good respect but this situation is not ur fault western did on to u, so get up and build ur country and support da current gov., bad government is better than non gov. |

| Thats very sad, these people are refugees in their own country. Even though its not mentioned they also face racism as they are mostly Somali Bantus, I witnessed this when I was in Puntland in 2003. |

| Vivo puntland who takes care of their brothers and sisters in south since the war. I am proud of them tho we need more people like farhiya (the nurse) who can help those people. Our people are suffering. We need a mission to unite our communities. |
