This piece, Ständchen from Schubert's series of Schwanengesang, is one of the most interpreted of Schubert's work. Each interpretation suitable for one particular mood. I found this one especially soothing, and the images most gorgeous. Thanks for fosting. For a vocal interpretation, I recommend Dietrich Fischer Dieskau or Maria Kliegel.

Ja, es ist eines der vielleicht typischen Werke der Romantik. Die "Serenade" von Franz Schubert ist eigentlich das "Ständchen" aus "Leise flehen meine Lieder".

Excellent matching of photos to music. The nature reminds me a lot of some of the more northern sections of southern Ontario, and my uncle's house near Madison, Wisconsin. But those aurora- I've never seen them in person, so that would be a treat indeed when I go to Finland someday!
