yea exactly. i jus wish that they would have their sound like high n dry and hysteria and pyromania mixed. i know that that would be a weird mix because they are all totally different but i loved those albums the most and i jus miss their old sound but they are still awesome of course.

i agree! have heard "See the lights" it's also a pretty cool raw but clean tone sounding song that is cool. oh yes those are the 3 best cds!
each has its own style but is done very well! i would lean toward something more like high n dry but now days it would not get played as much as something closer to hysteria!!

Today's rock is garbage. The problem is that today's musicians do not take the time to master their craft. They learn a few barre chords and away they go forming bands. Whereas bands like DL have guitarists who have mastered their instruments. I would put Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell up against anybody when it comes to playing the guitar. When I say anybody, I mean anybody. Both are very underrated.

exactly the only reason that they are underrated is because they are in def leppard. i dont know why but people are idiots def leppard is an amazing band and phil and viv are amazing guitarists.

I agree...todays rock just isnt as good, the only thing close to 80's rock is Aribourne...but Phil and Viv are both great guitar players..BUT there are many others that can play just as well. No offense to them both cus they fucking ROCK!!

I was there in the flesh they were amazing, so were the other bands beer was flowing crowd was mega, but boy was it hot that day, most wearing black shirts, you guys dont get the credit you deserve.One of ourn few brilliant rock bands. seen them 4 times since don valley amazing.Love and miss them, cant wait till next time.

Viv is a good guitarist however he's no John Sykes. Viv couldn't even recreate Sykes' solos live. Besides, Coverdale has always shifted the band lineup around til this day. The band lineup changes as often as the wind blows a different way.
