With all due respect, F-16 is still the front line fighter of USAF despite the fact that they have built F/A-22 Raptor, which is superior than any other aircaraft in the world including Eurofighter. Moreover, those F-16s which serve United States are far more advance than any other F-16s across the globe. I would also like to tell you that United States has stopped the production of F-16s for their own country. Now they are only manufacturing it for the sake of export.

pakdefv You are 101 % right, this is so true, recent on going purchase for 18 F16s with almost 4 Billion dollars Tag price ,is way too expensive ,its not worth it no matter how you look at it. these planes will be like toys, they are way below degraded, compare to ones in the fleet of US airforce and Israeli oirforce. "Its a downgraded version of f16 the americans have..." That is how it always is. When you purchase a aircraft (from USA, Europe, or Russia) it more than likely is a downgraded version. It is to keep the delivering country in control and with the advantage.
