This is me playing the solo acoustic version of Neon by John Mayer.

seriously, there is more feeling in your version then in the original, I'm watching this as I try to learn it, not john mayers original version.
Actually, the reason why Mayer doesn't use his signature OMJM much is because it has a C-shaped neck instead of the V that he request.
In place of that he uses the OMV-24, which is very similar tonally to his signature OMJM but has a V-neck. Unfortunately, only 404 have (and will be) produced, making it extremely expensive and hard to come by.
