You're right Mgilbo1 every realtor should listen to this, but you must understand that I'm in the mortgage business and I was explaining things like this about 5-6 months ago.... and people just look at me shake their heads and laugh...

Wow, Peter Schiff GETS IT. The U.S. is heading into the most severe depression the world has ever seen. Imagine a society dependant on technology heading into a 20th century depression with 40% unemployment, hyper-inflation, food shortages, riots that dwarf LA 1992 and Katrina 2005. In fact take Katrina and times it by every major city in the United States. If you want to survive buy, gold, guns, and lots of food.

that's the average American citizen for yuh. Their heads are so far gone into leisure and luxury they have NO TIME to even be or feel concerned that it could all come to an end someday. GOD is angry with America's mindset of leisure over everything else. It's all coming down. GOD tried to get our attention with 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, but unfortunately it did nothing.

The debit visa cards given to the Katrina survivors were used to buy purses, cosmetic surgery, and other JUNK that you'd think a person who just lost everything in a hurricane would have at the bottom of their list of items to get. It really showed me the state of America and how vain we've all become. Leisure, and fashion are more important than the basic necessities of life. GOD has to bring this MOTHER OF ALL DEPRESSIONS to get our minds straightened out. Thank you Jesus.

Amazingly prescient. The Talmud asks who is wise? He who can see the future. Peter Schiff is the most wise commentator on the economy in our time. I wish Ron Paul could be president with him as Sec. Treasury and then we could get started cleaning up this horrific mess. Unfotunately the depression that will occur will last until 2025.

In a way, I almost feel sorry for Obama. He is going to inherit the biggest recession in YEARS. For all the talk about Bush being dumb, at least he will be smart enough not to be around when shit really hits the fan.
