The Spanish would reject the early medieval moors - it's the only way they could justify the Reconquista and the resulting loss of knowledge that happened because of it. The recognition of the Moor culture of the medieval period goes a lot further than any supposed EU propaganda.

The nature of the muslim religion today is not the same as it was when the Moors held southern Spain. As far as I'm aware it was more enlightened and less intollerent.
I'm not so sure that Judaism is the most intolerent and racist religion ever created. How can religions be compared on those grounds? Is there a league table of religious racism, bigotry and slaughter?
