Wifibot WIFI robot controlled with a PSP with video feedback

Video Description:
WIFI robot controlled with sony PSP with video feedback
The main problem here is the video frame rate we can not for the moment have more than 2 Hz if we decreases the size of the image yes we can have 10 Hz.
This code is written in C and it uses the PSP SDK and custom JPEG libraries to uncompress the MJPEG stream coming from the IP camera. The control is done using the analog joy, it is realy easy to get his information from the SDK.
The binary if you want to test is on www.wifibot.com it work on all the WIFIBOT in AP mode using 192.168.0.100 IP and 192.168.0.20 for the camera.
We are now working on the Nintendo DS ;-) And of course it is just for fun we can not sell this.

I've build a rc-bot ... ( 2 months ago by Bp1033)
I've build a rc-bot like that 3 years ago but it was made with a craptop with a smashed screen and a big rc-car(gutted and had the original circuits replaced with a serial port relay switch broad) but it used the laptop's inferred instead of wifi so whenever it turned it lost the connection. You make me want to pull my rc-bot out of the attic again but use a pcmcia wifi card this time. But redoing the code to include the new hardware is going to be a bit of a challenge. I'm a little rusty with C

this is fake... i can point it out
1. he barely move the analog stick like 0.001 inch
2. if it was really controlled, when the camera move it would lag bit by bit not lag move super fast lag
3. if it was really you would have notice at the last part he turned it and move infront of him and it would clearly show his feet in the psp not the wall

I hope you guys know that this IS possible if youre a electrician engineer or if you know anything about engineering/electrician. But it will only work with the older phat PSP not the newer model since the IR (Infrared) was removed. Infrared is use by any remote controls to control TVs, VCR', RC cars, etc. There is a homebrew for the PSP that acts like a remote. I've used it as a remote control for my TV, wireless control/mouse for my PC games, etc. Do a little bit of research. You'll know.

hello dumbshit...is ... ( 3 weeks ago by omegaalpha74)
hello dumbshit...is a WIfiBOT!!...ithas what is to be wireless modem in it...or at least its like one...they wrote the code in C visual or c++ for the CFW eboot. made a network to the car...thus connected trough wifi they are able to move it and shit...which is why the cars camera can send images...i believe IR cant send images...so this would work even more perfect on a psp slim since its wifi connectivity is greater...this guys are good coders...i give em promps..weird that they arent spaniard

Ok, obviously I can't say if this guy really did this or not. But I can say this is very possible, I am working on one for a project at school. Basically all you need a wifi enabled computer on the robot, write the code to stream the video and controls over the wireless network to and from the PSP. I am writing mine in C# .net and the PSP version is in C, it's a v1.5 psp with custom firmware so I can run my own eboots on it. So, again, easily done if you know how to program.
