| Actually, the subs are wrong. It's speculated that they misheard it the first time around, so instead of Sennen Goroshi (1000 years of death), they thought it was Sennen Gurushi (1000 years of pain). However, they did the same in the Shippuden episodes, so chances are, they just screwed up big-time |
