every russian jet, to ever face an f-15 (all 100+ of them) has been shot down. Including the MiG-29. Thanks for your ignorance SNKIlla!

that is if the class of pilots is distinguished, but what if is equal?
example: some time ago was friendly fights between russians(su-27) and u.s. pilots. do you know results? :D only 1 win for the u.s. pilot ;) (in total was 18 or more fights - forgot)
It does not mean that russian pilots best of the world, сertainly, u.s. pilots have great school, but russians jets (like su-27 or mig-29) have more opportunities (manoeuvrability for example) in close air combat

It may not look like it, but this training goes on somewhere right around Kingsley Field, Klamath Falls, Oregon (home of the 173rd Fighter Wing of the Oregon ANG). Kingsley Field has its own Air to Air Combat Training Area

poor phantoms... you know those aircrafts did way more than any modern aircraft does or ever would. they are THE most busy aircraft that the Airforce and Navy ever used. i guess its an honorable death to get blown out in the sky, better than rot in the junkyard.
