Lili Marlene is not only the geratest song in history but it is a testament to what music can do during a war. Lili Marlene will always stay as one song that lived during the worlds worst time and beyond and will always be the song it is til lthe end of time.

I thank you for posting the song and the slideshow. In 1967, I heard her sing in a Broadway theatre, a very memorable experience. It was not just her voice which gave her such a command of the stage but her noteworthy presence added to my experience.
