1. Doesn't matter what nationality the singer is, its the song writer that has to come from the host country. Celine Dion won the contest for Switerland, yet Celine is Canadia.
2. Eurovision is not rigged. That you think some song are woeful and to you sound like Albanian goat herders is just your relative opinion. There have been some great songs that have won it recently - just because you don't liek them doesn't mean that the contest must somehow be rigged.

She didn't win any contest. This song was the UK's Eurovision entry in 1996. Ireland won that year.

It doesn't matter what nationality they are- an African man won the contest in 2001 singing for Estonia. But I agree about the second one- it was rigged this year. And I think it MUST have been rigged last year- how else could that crap from Serbia have won?!

It's no wonder we don't win anymore. We've done really bad since 1997 when Katrina & The Waves won it. Because of this war crap and everything else we've done wrong, no one wants to vote, except Malta who love England.
Mind you, our entries are always crap! If you look closely, you will notice at any ESC that cheesy, dancey, in ur face songs win! Scooch were in with a shot, BUT...its from the UK.
