I had one of my wisdom teeth out today and was awake during it all. Had three shots, whole thing took 10 minutes, didn't feel any pain. Watching this vid is pretty nasty but staring at the ceiling for 10 minutes or so isn't nearly as bad!
That was about 5 hours ago, it just sucks that I can't really talk or eat properly! Hope I don't get any of this dry socket business :/

I had my wisdom tooth taken out about 24 hours ago. I had novacaine only and the single tooth took more than 40 minutes. The pain of drilling was unbearable. Pulling of tooth wasn't though but drill was like someone sawing you down. This was just my left tooth. I have right left. The doctor said he'll do it next time because it's a lot of work on me. I'm the unfortunate people here.

damn i had all four of my wisdom teeth removed they used i.v. sedation so i was knocked out for the whole thing,after the surgery was over i didn't feel anything until about 30 min after the surgery omfg the pain was intense lucky they gave me percocet,and my face swelled up bad,and not to mention the bleeding damn it sucked

i got mine out 4 days ago and let me tell you.... OUCH. but u need to have it done... i had neck problems and everything. all good now =D

Gte Hypnoval - you forget everything. Mine still hurts after about 3 months! Takes a long time to heal.

Wow... I had my done not to long ago.
It didnt hurt much until they stuck the needle to the top of my mouth. Only hurt for about one day.
