first time i've heard these guys and wow. That blew me away. Spacey, choatic and mind-blowingly beautiful. I've always been interested in shoegaze, just never looked into it.
Any other really good shoegaze/mbv-like band's i've missed?

Their ep's are the best, but may be hard to find. As far as full albums, look for "Isn't Anything" and "Ecstasy & Wine." These 2 albums are very good, but Loveless is GOD. Try your best to find the ep's, they're on par with Loveless.

Like Entidus said-Slowdive, Ride and also... Curve, Cocteau Twins, Rumskib, early Chapterhouse, Swallow, early Lush, early Medicine, Adorable, Schroeder's Cat. Slighty less noisey, but still excellent- Cranes, Spiritualized (lazer guided melodies), Pale Saints, early A.R. Kane, Love spirals downwards. Look up "Shoegaze Collective" (music search) on Myspace to see alot of local/unsigned, excellent shoegaze bands.

Best to stick with these guys, Jesus & the Mary Chain and Sonic Youth. Shoegazing generally was alot of sheep following the shepherd. (Though The Verve turned out to be good)
