Hitler didn't start World War 1, but he was a highly-decorated WW 1 veteran of four years of combat worse than anything later seen in Vietnam. But God knows he was eager to start World War 2, and incompetent (thankfully) once he started it....McCain is the same kind of mentally warped creep itching to give the military its marching orders. Being a vet doesn't mean you're not a nut.
And I'd be very surprised if Gen. Clark didn't have Vietnam GROUND combat experience, as opposed to flyboying.

How about going from poverty to top of your class at Columbia and Harvard, then trouncing the presidential campaign of an older, more experienced opponent (1 down, 1 to go!), giving a crap about people other than lobbyists, and sounding more intelligent than his current opponent? I don't like Obama's cloaked socialism but this is a valid point against McCain. He's a leader that defaults to using force. Gen. Clark's point was/is valid and comes from a much more EXPERIENCED individual.
Once more we're in a race of the lesser of two evils.
Obama will enlarge our domestic services and as such we'll all have to pay for it.
McCain will plunge us into any war he sees an opportunity for. As well as drive the wedge even further between us and the global community.

You wont be surpised because Clark did have Combat experiance in Vietnam, he was shot 4 times on one operation and even though severly wounded he continued to lead his men in a counter attack against the vietcong succesfuly, before he was taken out on a stretcher.

Are you insane forwardmover just look at Clarks military record. He is one of the greatest US soldiers in history. Ego? he hardly ever talks about his service record. Low skilled politicaly and diplomaticaly you say yet he was key to reducing hostilities in the cold war as a commander of all NATO forces in Europe and the Balkans. Even preventing the Russians gaining a foothold in the region without firing a shot.
