Ron Paul got his ASS HANDED TO HIM by Tim Russert! Way to go Mr.Russert. I'm not a fan of him really, but it was good to see him blast Paul on his loony policies and views.
Also take note of how Paul used to bash Reagan, but now that he's dead and is an GOP Icon, Paul is using his image and quotes to boost himself.

geo: Campaign contributions doesn't mean majority the military supports him, it simply means that those in the service who donated, did so more to him than the others. Most troops don't give a shit about politics, they are too busy trying to stay alive, let alone worrying about which candidate they are going to contribute to. Furthermore, as someone who is political active, I donated to John McCain and never once has anyone checked to validate my occupation as a Marine.

I believe many Ron Paul supporters posed as Military personal when they donated.
Can I prove this? No. However, consider this....tell me why in 2004 did over 80% of the active duty Military vote for President Bush and now suddenly in 2007, they are all behind an anti-war candidate? the war was going worse in 2004 than now, by far. The surge has been a great success and things are better than they have been in a LONG time over there.

Geo: Of course they care to some extent, but most I know over there now are more worried about doing their job and not sitting around watching CNN and surfing the blogs. The election is still a year away and in the meantime we have a war to win.

Of course, we know the answer. This wasn't an interview, it was an outright attack. No wonder the MSM is reacting to his passing like he was the second coming.
