Even with all his recent success Tiesto still manages to play it cool and keep his feet on the ground. Graham from DJVIBE.com talks with him about his new CD and his snowboarding plans for Whistler next year.

You cant compare Darude and Tiesto, they make different sounds, have different styles and directions.
In my opinion Darude make one Bigger hit in 1999, the immortal Sandstorm which is a Classic Trance piece still played, but Darude is not making similar songs ,but still spins.
Tiesto, is better know for be the Number 1 DJ of the world, that is something very advantageous, Tiesto introduce Trance to the city people, so is very commercial, when you say trance a lot think Tiesto.
Both are good.

if theres one thing known its that any artist that is ranked by popularity is usually not the most innovative or even artistic.. The ones I respect the most are those willing to experiment. tiesto is too mainstream to be "great" if that makes sense.

you assholes that critizise electronic music you think it's easy to do but you don't give a fvck about how hard is producing a tune is same or harder than a POP or Classic or whatever kind of music style. You'll have the right to critizise when you reach the level of one of those Producers (music creator), don't missunderstand with the word DJ (disc jokey)
