Just look how many songs of other artists Gibbard and Death Cab cover. And most of them covered piss poorly. It's sad man.
In 30 years people will remember The Cure, Nirvana and Bjork for their iconic artistic visions. Nobody will remember Death Cab for anything.

How do I know? Well emo has been done before, and it's been done far better.
Everyone instantly recognizes the signature work of The Cure and The Smiths, but nobody will ever recognize anything by Death Cab as iconic. Just look at The Smiths' "How Soon is Now"...almost everyone instantly recognizes that guitar riff, if not for the song itself, by the subsequent covers.
Even Death Cab's band name is derivative of another artist. Pretty sad when you can't even come up with your own name.

Yeah I agree completely. I thought it was very interesting that ultimately a)robotics were used to create robots who 'love' as intended, or b) robotics were used to create robots who 'love' despite.

A superb video. Some people are calling these machines 'lesbian' robots. Surely, a robot's gender is indeterminate and therefore its sexuality? Just because the two in the video have curves and bumps in the right places it doesn't make them female. The point of the vid, I think, is to say "it doesn't matter what's external - that's all superficial - it's the love inside that matters"

I think that whether or not these robots are "Lesbian" is irrelevant to the message that is trying to be relayed. With Bjork, you have to look for the deeper meaning, because artists like her leave the obvious to emo bands. With her music, you have to look deeper and feel the music to understand what is being sung. She sings with her heart and puts out emotions with how she sings. You have to feel the passion and see that in the end, no matter who you are, You will be taken care of.
