I wasn't implying anything negative. I absolutely adore this performance and love Fiona. But much of the audience just doesn't seem to understand what the song is about or the emotion behind this performance.

I always wonder whether Fiona should also try acting cause of the power she can take over a song when she is singing, especially one such as "I Want You" which is so emotionally intense and she seems to feel every ounce of the lyric and music.

Wow, this is totally amazing! IMO, this is Elvis best song of the 21st Century (as far as I've heard so far - and certainly not counting late 70s to early 80s) - and Fiona doesn't just add great vocals to it. She captures the mental instability of it. I could listen to this all day.
At the end, she seems really scared of the audience. It's sort of hard to tell when her song persona ends and Fiona begins, but it really does seem likes she's scared everybody hates her.

I don't think that she's scared of anyone hating her. I think that to sing that song the way it should be sung, you have to take urself to a dark, "instable" place. Actors get lost in character quite often, and need to be reprogramed to fit back into their regular lives, it's the same with most performers, good ones anyway.

Yes, she totally does get into character. But when the song ends, and she sort of grabs her face, I get a sense that's she's nervous.
Like I said, hard to tell. Either way, GREAT performance of a GREAT song, which is older than I originally thought.....

Is there something holding her back from tearing up the entire stage? Jesus... i've been listening to the audio of this for over a year now, never occurred to me to look for the video, but i always imagined her breaking down, crawling on the floor singing this... she seems so "stuck" in her skin, it's almost painful to watch. I'm not surprised to see that she was crying, though.
Anyway, amazing performance. Definitely my favourte song, done live.. ever.

She is one of the most amazingly genuine and perfect people! Look at the fucking emotion she gives! It's live, and she's putting more than anyone, without being egoccentric or sycophantic. Oh my god. Wow. What a performance! Even to the point as the guitar faded and she kept approaching the microphone, I felt she still was the person in the song, and still wanted to convey more to anyone who would listen...
I am in awe. What a performance.
Then to see her come out of the trance and give an exhale, becoming Fiona again....simply Wow. I am going to watch it again now.
