Even though i'm most likely going to get shot down, ridiculed, and flamed, i'll post this anyway.
When God finished everything it's written that he "set the world in motion" which means that he let the world, and man, do their own thing. God stepped back and watched.
You ask, If there is a god and if he is "love" why does he allow so much wrong in the world? The answer simply is, he didn't allow it...we did.
Everything that goes on can be traced back to someone else's decision.

I don't want to have a long drawn out arguement over the power, or lack thererof, of God. If you trust the Bible, there's a story in the Old Testament about the Hebrew peoples Exodus from Egypt. They wandered in the wilderness for around 40 years. The wilderness translates to desert. There was no food for the people in the wilderness. So, God stepped in and provided Manna every morning. I don't want to sound high-and-mighty, but you can't disprove God, and I can't scientifically prove it.

i hear what your saying, and the bible is the worst thing you can trust. especialy when it was written in barbaric times when they believed the world was flat and didn't know that it revolved around the sun. so god had all his words put into the bible and all, but forgot to mention the earth was round and went around the sun. you can't prove god, non-scientificly.

I'm glad you see where I'm coming from, and I respect your opinion. I myself am a Christian, if you hadn't guessed that already...lol, so it's only natural that i'm going to try to spread my religion, but to an extent. If I see that you don't care and you're not interested i'm going to back off. Religion is based on faith, faith is the belief in things not seen. Sure I can't see God, but I believe in him. You know what i'm saying?
