Well, I don't have anything against McCain personally. While I don't agree with all of McCain's policies, I also sincerely think that out of the two candidates, McCain has the most character. Obama may be a Marxist, although I'm not sure exactly why I'm not fond of him. There's just something eerie about him that gets me every time I hear him speak.

If Ron Paul were the candidate, I would have voted 10 times for him. But, I don't really like Obama nor McCain. Truthfully, I don't trust any politician because I just don't feel comfortable with someone I don't know having control of virtually every aspect of my life. They are all just campaigning in order to get votes. All of that "change" talk could be thrown out the window the day the pres is elected. But as with every election, you have to choose the best from the worst.

yerok, have you ever personally known any of the people that "[have] control of virtually every aspect of [your] life"? I kinda doubt it. BUT they have control none-the-less. So, as others have said, wouldn't you like to atleast have some say, as much as any individual (not of the elite class) can have? Research Ron Paul, look at his voting history (that's part of the public record), and you'll see he actually DOES NOT want to "[have] control of virtually every aspect of [your] life".

Also, "If Ron Paul were the candidate, I would have voted 10 times for him."...he was, and as far as I'm concerned still is a candidate. The media wants us to believe that he simultaneously brought in over $5,000,000 and dropped out of the race. The fact is the mainstream media simply stopped covering him when it became obvious that their attempts convince the public that the public wasn't interested in him as a candidate failed.
