It's a private corporation.
That OWNS our treasury.
Every politician is paid off by them, therefore giving them complete control over our government.
Anytime we borrow from them they profit from it. So of course they want us to borrow as much as possible.
The IRS then collects the interest on that loan, so even more money for them.

I just get so frustrated with all the untruth out there.

In 2003, Bush proposed a bill to drill for oil in northeast Alaska. But the senate rejected it. I guess they didn't want to upset the tree hugging liberal environmentalists who were funding their campaign. Sad, isn't it? If we were permitted to drill, the price of a gallon of gas would be cut in half.

You are a fool if you believe that the price of gas would be lower if bush and his co-conspirators had started drilling in 2003. AT BEST there is a 30 day supply of oil for the US in Anwar and it would take 10 years to get it on the market. And, AT BEST is would raise the world's output of oil production by 1.5%. It is absurd to believe that bush is the least bit interested in lowering oil prices: he is precisely the reason gas is over $4.00 and rising.

What do you think Senators have to do every year since the war got started? They have to vote whether or not to continue funding the war. That's what the Senate does, they control the pursestrings of the war. And as such, every single year Obama has had the chance to vote up or down, he votes up and gives George W. Bush every penny he asks for. that is voting for the war. Obama has never voted against the war. All we have to indicate otherwise is RHETORIC.

How much oil is there in Alaska? 10-21Billion barrels, America consumes 20 million barrels a day drilling in ANWR would give 3 years of domestic usage.
Would the ANWR oil end up in America or go onto the world market? do you think oil companies care who buys it? if china came along and offered $200 a barrel, every rig in texas would pump for china.
