McCain, Republicans Want Welfare for Anti-Evolutionists?
Uploaded by: LiberalViewer
Video Description:
When Republican governor and possible John McCain Vice Presidential running mate Bobby Jindal came out in favor of teaching "Intelligent Design" in Louisiana's science classrooms on CBS's "Face The Nation" last Sunday, it reminded me of John McCain's similar nonsensical position on teaching "Intelligent Design" which I criticize using clips from biologist Kenneth Miller appearing this last week with Stephen Colbert and on NPR.

No human "evolved" from monkeys.
Monkeys, as we know them today, have only minute realtions with humans, and that's only because we crawled from the same muck.
Humans and APES have common anscestry.
Denying or accepting these ideas connotes desperation, and in that way I empithise.
First life-form supposedly created by pure chance alone. Was not really all that complex. Creation of life by humans is becoming more reality. Anything is possible in time.
There's no way you're smart enough to afford a Corvette (unless you're a greedy televangelist).
Know what I'm trying to say?
Seriously, way too many Christians don't understand evolution. I've talked to many who don't understand it, yet say it is a pile of bull. How about you go out and understand it, and then take a look at your faith, knowing all the facts. Most people won't change, because religion is powerful. And I say religion because that is the only reason people won't even consider evolution to be even possible.
God is a creation of man's imagination.. They really have no similarities what so ever I'm afraid...
You confuse Abiogenesis (the origin of life) with the theory of evolution (the development of life through adaptation and mutation). The answers to Abiogenesis are still on the drawing board- we don't know yet how life came about. The evolution of life is a theory that is based on tangible evidence and scientific method who has stood up to every criticism thrown at it.There really is nothing to discuss regarding this matter
