There are Five Takhts or Seats of Temporal Authority of Sikhism. They are:
Sri Akal Takht (The Seat of the Timeless One built beside the Golden Temple by Guru Har Gobind as a symbol for political sovereignty of Sikhs)
Takht Sri Patna Sahib (Birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh)
Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib in Anandpur Sahib (Birthplace of the Khalsa)
Takht Sri Damdama Sahib (place where Guru Gobind Singh prepared the full version of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib in 1705)
Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib (place where Guru Gobind Singh breathed his last breath)
