This guy is full of shit, but I guess it sells a lot of books. There is no way to speak of the Tao it must be directly experienced. Don't let this charlatan confuse you, go and learn zazen or some type of contemplative practice to experience nonduality directly.

Again, someone who didnt bother to listen to what he's actually saying, or didnt bother to watch it through to the end. He says exactly the same thing...he says acceptance of the concept is only the first step, but enlightenment cant be learnt, it "must be given to you directly".

That is the problem with trying to equate the shifting conceptual world of the scientific community with the experience of nonduality. No acceptance of a concept is necessary and will not lead you any closer to enlightenment which is beyond all conceptualization. So why not just skip this bullshit and learn how to "get it directly"

Of course acceptance is necessary. If someone doesn't accept the concept of oneness, or non-duality, then they're never going to experience it, or bother to learn how to get it directly.
Where-as by providing a scientific explanation, and marrying science and "religion" together, there's a chance that a whole load more people will think "Oh, hang on a minute, maybe there is something to this after all" and then get involved. It's just a different approach. An extra step.
