The ancient Chinese paid a great deal of attention to cultivating the mind and the body. In fact, even the fourth great invention from ancient China, gun powder, was accidentally found when the natural element, sulphur, was used in an attempt to create the elixir of life. Besides cultivation practice, gunpowder was also known to be used in Chinese medicine, fire crackers, and only later, warfare.
Speaking of wars, many dynasties came and went over the course of China's thousands of years of history. The rise and fall of its dynasties came about when the emperor of a dynasty was no longer virtuous. Back then, there was not a concept of politics, but rather people talked about the virtues required on how to administer a country and the merits necessary to rule as a king.
In today's Five Thousand Years segment we will introduce the invention of gunpowder.

MexicaMovement: The ... ( 1 month ago by EricMetalGuitarist)
MexicaMovement: The Chinese did not invent the "printing press". They invented woodblock printing (8th century) and then movable type printing (11th century), although the latter did not employ the Hellenistic screw press that was unique to Western/European civilization. The "printing press" was a unique invention of Johannes Gutenberg of Germany. Also, your rabid anti-White racism is astounding. Thievery? Please, save that for your La Raza meetings, racist.

whether you press ... ( 1 week ago by ejr669)
whether you press it using an Archimedian screw or not the concept of printing was copied from the Chinese, the fact that it is being pressed using the screw is trivial, it can work without it, it can be pressed by other means, as the Chinese proved it. The Chinese had thier time, Europe had theirs, it is now America's time, however the future may well blong to the Chinese, again! if that happens they will be the first ancient power to rise again in the modern age!
No, there is no ... ( 1 week ago by EricMetalGuitarist)
No, there is no definitive evidence to suggest that Gutenberg's printing press was influenced by Chinese movable type printing as invented by Bi Sheng in the 11th century.
What the hell does printing have to do with modern superpowers? You're taking one subject and transforming it into something completely different.
"printing was also ... ( 1 week ago by EricMetalGuitarist)
"printing was also prevalent in the Turkish ottoman empire and the Middle East during Gutenberg's time"
What are we talking about here? Woodblock? That has nothing to do with movable type printing.
"Where did the turks get their gunpowder and cannons from? Most historians agree that they got them from the Chinese"
Gunpowder and artillery are completely separate issues. The ancient Greek screw press is what inspired Gutenberg's invention, not clay characters and metal sheets of Bi Sheng.
