What FedSteals said. Liberals are actually more warlike than conservatives (Clinton bombed several countries in the 90s with the real conservatives (and party bias neo-cons) screaming murder at him). Several conservatives were outraged at Bush's invasion of Iraq. The typical Paleoconservative platform isn't even just a withdrawal from Iraq, but from every country we occupy in the world. Jimmy Carter was the worse President we've ever had. With no major crisis going on, his energy policies almost ruined us. 8 percent unemployment. Ronald Reagan pulled us out and added two million jobs to the economy. He is in bed with terrorists dude, read his freaking book and see it for yourself. The American Conservative Union rates Webb a 16 out of 100, the same as Lieberman. So they break party lines once in a while, but are still liberal on the majority of the issues. What they say and how they vote are two completely different things. Dont be fooled. If they dont vote party, they will not get party support for re-election.
