Ive been laying for much longer than you have. If anything, CoB would fit most in melodeath, with influences from power metal (yeah, im talking song structure, not vocals)
Technically though, i remember some magazine (id say kerrang, but im not certain) called them neoclassical metal.
But really, genre naming doesnt really describe them, in the end they are still metal, and really still a fucking brilliant band.
