A handful of people on facebook thought it would be a funny idea to stand still like statues in Liverpool Street Station. They were expecting 500+ people to join in, so naturally Anonymous thought we would have to crash their party and dance around around them while blasting them with some of the worst music ever recorded.
Of course, the flash mob was as effective as all facebook groups are, and of their 519 "confirmed" attendees, no more than twenty actually showed up. Needless to say much hilarity and mocking followed, as the "Internet Hate Machine" returned to its usual forms of IRL trolling.
Anonymous Did It For The LULZ.
And remember, we came from ebaumsworld.com :-P
