it's not literally. The song is not about seeing but that she feels noone knows hwo she REALLY is! Everyone looks at her as a helpless blind girl..while she is one of the best earthbenders! The song is supost to tell that the girl people sees in her is not the real her! (or something like that XD not so good to explain)
