2. dont know where or when costplay events are

where are these events?! I'd like to do one ^^ I would be edward elric but my sister would be like 'your a girl why dont you play a girl!? YOU BOY!'

these events take place at any anime convention. specifically megacon is in orlando (or at least that is the one i went to, i dont know if megacon travels or not) other ones are jacon and animw weekend atlanta (AWA)
and dont worry about dressing as Edward, cause lots of girls do that and ive seen some guys dress up as card captor sakura *shudders*

normally people make their costumes and just look for anime conventions in your area. most of them have costume contests and even if they dont, people come in constume anyway

1. You can make your own costume. Even though I can't sew, I was able to make an Ed (Cowboy Bebop) costume, a White Mushroom (Kingdom Hearts) costume, and a Mr. K costume (Gravitation). You can buy costumes from Ebay.com.
2. This website not only has pics of people cosplaying but info about anime cons

If your sis complains, that is her problem. Besides, you could just tell her that Ed is a girl. ^_^ Don't worry, there are a LOT of girls who cosplay as guy characters. I would have to say 50% of the girls cosplay as guys. There are also guys who cosplay as girl characters. I cosplayed as Mr. K from Gravitation.

Actually dressing up as Mr. K isn't really crossplay for me. Don't know why I wrote that...? ^_^; I cosplayed as Ed from Cowboy Bebop before and I'm a guy. I got a lot 'o compliments. ^-^

OMG i remember this! i was sitting on the same side too(somewhere behind a miwako(paradise kiss)cosplayer)...there were better cosplayers the year before tho....and i wish that they would pick better hosts, because i did not like these guys.

Man, I stopped after seeing a fat cracker hit up the stage in a crappy DNAngel outfit, no offense but that was HORRBIBLE cosplay right there.
I have nothing against anything in there but the horrible, horrible coplaying skills.
